Privacy Policy — Printling

Last updated: July 2026

Printling helps parents print screen-free activities for their children. We built it to keep kids off screens, and we take the same restraint with your data: we collect as little as possible, we do not track you, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

  • Your child's first name (optional) — to personalise a printout
  • Your child's date of birth / age — to make content age-appropriate
  • Interests and languages you choose — to tailor content
  • Your printer's email address — to send the finished PDF to your printer
  • Topics you type or speak — to generate the requested activity

What we do NOT collect

  • Your location, contacts, or photos
  • Advertising identifiers or any cross-app tracking data
  • Account logins — Printling has no accounts

How we use it

Your inputs are sent to our server to generate a PDF and email it to your printer. To create content, our backend uses third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud). These providers process the request to return content and do not receive your data for advertising. Google's privacy policy applies to infrastructure: policies.google.com/privacy.

Caching

We may cache generated content (keyed by activity type, age range, and topic) so the same request is faster and cheaper next time. Cached content is not tied to your name or identity.

Voice input

If you use voice to enter a topic, speech recognition converts your words to text for that request only. Audio is not stored by Printling.

Print Circle

If you create or join a Print Circle, a short circle code and the shared daily topic are stored on our server so other families in your circle receive the same topic. No child names or profiles are shared through a circle.

Children's privacy

Printling is intended to be set up and operated by a parent or guardian, not by a child. Any information about a child is provided by the parent solely to personalise printed activities. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.

Retention & deletion

Profile data lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app or reset onboarding in Settings. To request deletion of anything on our servers, contact us via developermom.com.
